設計の概要
市街地の狭小地に建つ木造3階建ての住宅である。
木と塗装の壁による静かで柔らかな空間を目指した。
明るく開放性のある空間を確保したうえで、密度のある空間とめりはりをつけた。
風圧を受けている吹抜けの梁とキッチンのカウンターを同じ材で制作し、要素を統一して梁やカウンターの持つ「意味」を曖昧にした。

Outline of design
It is a wooden three story house that is built on urban narrow site.
It aimed at a quiet, soft space with the wood and the wall of painting.
The space with a brightness and openness was secured, and the space and the pitch with the density were applied.
The beam of the void where the wind pressure had been received and the counter of kitchen were produced with the same material, elements were united, and “Meaning” of the beam and the counter was obscured.

The simple gray box was put on the center of the site.

設計の概要
鉄筋コンクリート3階建住宅の改築。
既存の建物の床に穴を開け、3階から吹抜けを通して1階のリビングに光が落ちてくる。
2階の中心には「廊下」とも「部屋」とも違う「あいまいな空間」がある。
この「あいまいな空間」は生活にゆったりとした雰囲気を与える。

Reconstruction of three story house made by reinforced concrete.
The floor in an existing building is punctured, and light falls from the second floor into the living of the ground floor through the void.
There is “Vague space” that isn’t “Corridor” or “Room”, in the center of the first floor. This “Vague space” gives a life the relaxed atmosphere.

２階建て木造長屋の店舗への改築である。
既存建物の2階の床に穴を開け、吹抜けによって1階と2階の空間を繋げた。
階段が外部と内部を緩やかに分節する。
既存建物の屋根構造材を露出させた。
壁、ドア、家具が「断片」として白い空間に浮遊する。

It is reconstruction of wooden two story terraced house to the restaurant and cafe.
The floor of the first floor in an existing building was punctured, and the ground floor connected to the space of the first floor by the void. The stairs gradually divide the outside and the inside. The structure material of the roof in an existing building was exposed.
The wall, the door, and furniture float on a white space as “Fragment”.

設計の概要
3世帯住宅である。
1階は母世帯で、2階3階は、西側が兄世帯、東側が弟世帯である。
建物の中心には中庭があり、その中庭を中心に2世帯用の階段が点対称に配置されている。
中庭の光景は、まるでピラネージの彫版やエッシャーの無限に続く階段のようである。
外壁は、2人の子供が鉄工所を営んでいるため施主自身で制作し、取り付けはその友人が行なった。

Outline of design
It is a three-family house.
The ground floor is a mother’s house, the west side of the first and second floor is an elder brother family house, and the east side is a younger brother family house.
There is a courtyard in the center of the building, and the stairs for two families are arranged in the point symmetry with respect to the center of courtyard.
The spectacle of the courtyard is like Piranesi’s print or Escher’s infinite stairs.
The outer walls was produced by the client because the brouthers were managing the ironworks, and the friend installed it.

提案A：平行する壁による構成をルールにし、内部と外部の扱いを等しくすることを目的とした。
提案B：部屋という単位を一つの箱として扱い、その箱による構成をルールにした。箱と箱の間の空間が中心のリビングとなり、箱と箱の隙間から風景が現れ、光が浸透する。

Outline of design
This is a plan of the house in land for sale in lots.
Proposal A: It aimed to make the organization by Wall that ran side by side a rule, and to equate the treatment of Inside and Outside.
Proposal B: The unit of room is treated as one Box, and the organization by the Box is made a rule. Space between Box and Box becomes living room at the center, scenery appears from the space between Box and Box, and light infiltrates.

設計の概要
南方熊楠研究所の設計競技案である。
敷地（熊楠本邸）に現存する3本の楠の木を残し、敷地を縦方向と横方向に帯状に分割し、「箱」や「壁」や「スクリーン（ガラス）」を発生させ、内部空間と外部空間が混在した迷路の様な「世界」をつくる。
ギャラリー空間が建物の中を走り、外部空間と連結されて、循環する動線を形成する。
ギャラリー空間には天井のトップライトから光りが降り注ぎ、床・壁・天井に同じテクステュアーを与えることによって万華鏡のようになる。

Outline of design
It is a proposal for Minakata,Kumagusu Institute.
The three camphor trees existing in the site [kumagusu house]is left, the site is divided into zonal vertically and horizontally, and “Box”, “Wall”, and “Screen (glass)” are generated there, and “world” in the maze where an internal space exists together to an external space is made.
The gallery space runs in the building, it is connected with an external space, and the circulation is formed.
The shine pours down from a top light of the ceiling over the gallery space, it becomes like the kaleidoscope by giving same texture to the floor, the wall, and the ceiling.
